Customer survey closing soon
Irrigators and others with a stake in State Water’s operations are being encouraged to provide feedback to the organisation via an online customer survey before the end of August.
To date 310 responses have been received to the survey, which can be accessed on the home page of the State Water website (www.statewater.com.au).
Information received from the survey will be used to identify and address issues raised by respondents and generally improve customer service levels.
Responses received indicate that two out of three respondents are not familiar with the activities of their customer service committee, which are customer representative bodies elected every four years in each major river valley.
State Water’s Manager Customer Operations, Scott Barber, said this information alone illustrated the value of the survey to both customers and State Water.
“I would encourage all stakeholders to take advantage of this important opportunity to make their voice heard, let us know what you think of our service levels, what we do well and what we can improve,” Mr Barber said.
“The fact that two-thirds of survey participants say they are not familiar with their local customer service committee is an excellent example of the valuable information this survey will extract from our customers.
“That information already tells me we need to work harder to raise the profiles of our customer service committees and the excellent work they do in each valley in advocating on behalf of local customers.
“The value in an online survey is that it is a convenient, far-reaching and anonymous method of sending a comprehensive evaluation to State Water of the issues that matter most to our customers.”
