State Water moves Sydney office to the CBD

The new State Water office in Sydney's CBD.State Water’s Sydney office has relocated from its base in Parramatta into the city’s CBD.

As well as reducing operational costs, the move into the modern office space on Clarence Street has improved accessibility for employees visiting from regional NSW.

General Manager Major Projects Michael Jeffery said the need to move closer to the CBD was identified by staff travelling from regional areas.

“Staff from both head office in Dubbo and the smaller regional offices often fly to Sydney for meetings and other work arrangements," Mr Jeffery said.

"They used to have to travel another hour by train to Parramatta.

“We identified the opportunity to cut down on both travel time and costs by moving the office into the CBD, resulting in a more accessible location for everybody,” he said.

The new office space includes contemporary space-saving solutions and has been an opportunity to streamline record-keeping and files. The office is also centrally located in the city, within walking distance of Wynyard station.

The change in address has also resulted in a change in phone number. To contact the Sydney office, please call the switch on (02) 8245 2000.
