Hume Dam Upgrade
Location: 16km east of Albury-Wodonga on the River Murray
Cost: $60 million
Funding: The Murray Darling Basin Authority
Start date: March 2010
Expected completion: 2015
Description: Installation of an improved filter and drainage system on the junction between the concrete spillway and southern embankment; construction of a concrete buttress on the southern training wall and possible spillway modifications to improve the capacity of the dam to manage extreme floods.

- Additional flood capacity - Hydrology investigation completed December 2010
