Description: Construction of a vertical-slot fishway and regulator
Benefits
- Opens up an additional 214km of Macquarie River to native fish
- New regulator provides water flow to attract fish
- Assists native fish to seek further river reaches to spawn, feed and seek refuge
- Includes carp separation cage to reduce carp numbers
