iWAS - Internet Water Accounting System
State Water released iWAS in late 2009.
This online application makes ordering water and obtaining current water account statements more efficient, saving time and enabling management of water accounts over the web.
iWAS provides information for regulated river water accounts managed under the Water Management Act 2000.
What are the key features of iWAS
iWAS allows customers to:
- Enter and amend their own water orders and place meter readings,
- Have complete access rights (for the legal account holder) to edit the account details,
- Download water account statements detailing transactions and account balances,
- View specific regional announcements via our bulletin board,
- View and download the allocation assignment register,
- Access current information at the press of a button.
Why iWAS?
With technology constantly evolving, State Water needed to address current customer service processes and enhance its uptake of modern technology and information systems.
Enabling customers to enter their own water orders and meter readings via the internet means they can access information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ability to enter meter readings also gives customers current account balances at the click of a button.
