STATE WATER CORPORATION ACT 2004

The NSW Government included a provision in the State Water Corporation Act 2004 (SWCA2004) that it should be reviewed, after its first five years of effect, to determine whether “the policy objectives of the Act remain valid and whether the terms of the Act remain appropriate for securing those objectives”.

Following this provision, a review the State Water Corporation Act 2004 is being undertaken to determine whether its policy objectives are valid and terms are relevant. Submissions for consideration in the review are invited from members of the public.

The background paper provides information on the review and will assist with answering questions in the response sheet provided below.
