The Pesticide Use Notification Plan has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Pesticides Regulation 1995.

The aim of this Plan is to meet the community’s general right to know about pesticide applications made to outdoor public areas that are owned or controlled by State Water Corporation. The term ‘pesticides’, used throughout this plan, encompasses the application of pesticides as well as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and fertilisers.

This plan details how State Water will notify members of the community about applications of pesticides in its public places. The plan will therefore enable community members to make informed decisions when visiting State Water owned public places and to take action to avoid contact with these pesticides if they wish.
