State Water is considered a medium sized corporation with a workforce of up to 300 people. Our staff have a wide variety of skills and expertise including customer service and administrative staff, mechanics, fitters, storage and river infrastructure officers, electricians, engineers, surveyors and machine and plant operators, who are located statewide in 46 locations. State Water’s corporate headquarters is at Dubbo, with Strategic Asset Services and Risk Management staff based in Parramatta. |
State Water has four geographically defined Customer Service Areas that are responsible for customer service, day-to-day river operations and asset operation and maintenance. Area Customer Services Managers operate from offices in Moree (North Area), Leeton (South Area), Dubbo (Central Area), and Muswellbrook (Coastal Area). |
